Ebony Janice Moore is a womanist academic, author, and community organizer who focuses on black women's body ownership as a social justice problem, black women's access to ease, joy, and play, and Hip Hop as a tool for sociopolitical and spiritual/religious movement building.
She has developed a leadership development curriculum for high school-aged girls in Kenya and South Africa, as well as coding for teenagers in Decatur, Georgia, exposing them to culture, STEM programs, and the arts. She also endorses the education costs of several female students at PACE High School in Nyahururu, Kenya.
