David is the San Mateo County Community College District Current Board President. Elected to the Board in November 2003; was Board President in 2006. Also serves on the Presidents Council for Innovation at Skyline College. Previously served on the San Mateo County Office of Education Internet Access Task Force.
Is currently a trustee and vice chair of the California State Parks Foundadtion and is a Board member of the local chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Was 2001 Silicon Valley Man of the Year.
