California Against Slavery's Executive Director and Founder, Daphne Phung, is a co-proponent of Proposition 35 on the November ballot. She was outraged that victims of human trafficking were being victimized even more in our judicial system.
She was convinced that God uses individuals to deliver justice and that she could be one of them, after a night of wrestling with the notion of how a just God could allow recurrent injustice to the same people. In 2009, she founded California Against Slavery to bring Californians together to fight human trafficking.
