Dan NevinsSpeaker and Booking Agent Information

Nevins attributes his effective rehabilitation to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), which ingrained in him a "can-do" attitude, an optimistic attitude, and a desire to help his fellow wounded veterans.

He rapidly became a proponent for the organisation, empowering both his colleagues and the general public to make positive choices and the lives of others around them easily by sharing his compelling story.

Nevins' charming personality and likeable, lively attitude captivated audiences of all forms and sizes, and he quickly found himself communicating his narration with hundreds of thousands of people all over the world. For his tireless efforts of WWP, Nevins received the organization's highest award, the George C. Lang Prize for Courage, in 2008.

He ended up going on to be the head of WWP's Warriors Speak programme, where he instructed other wounded veterans and caregivers how to share their stories with the public and serve as spokespersons for the organisation in the same way that he had.

In 2014, Nevins found the life-changing influence of meditation and yoga, which allowed him to recover from the hidden wounds of war in a way that no other therapy could. He soon realized that the other wounded veterans could aid from yoga in the very same way he did, and he knew he would have to become an instructor.

Nevins started to teach yoga in 2015 and is now a Tier 3 Baptiste Yoga Role model. Nevins involves the concept of "yoga for everyone" into his presentations and classes, inspiring people from all walks of life – particularly veterans – to participate in the practise.

Nevins' attempts were quickly recognised, and he has been welcomed to teach yoga all over the world, from the White House in Washington, District of Columbia to utilise servicemembers in the Middle East, as well as the Africa Yoga Project in Nairobi, Kenya.

When he's not teaching classes for hundreds of people, Nevins can be discovered sharing his passion for life, WWP, yoga, as well as his fellow injured soldiers with participants of significant events varying from the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway as well as Stadium of Fire at BYU Stadium to the Wisdom 2.0 Summit in San Francisco.

Nevins is always searching for innovative ways to assist other veterans. He is deeply committed to his work with the Wounded Warrior Proposal & Warrior Spirit Retreat, a non-profit he established that enables soldiers to greater possibilities by supplying them with new tools for recovery from the hidden wounds of war.

The holistic resorts are free to veterans as well as offer a syllabus centered on yoga, awareness, and meditation. Nevins is a fantastic storyteller who incorporates his own strong and influential story into a tailored keynote or studio that will motivate your organization with his statement of perseverance, toughness, as well as hope.
