Coach McKenzie is the former Executive Director of Hospitality House Youth Directions (a youth development ministry in north Minneapolis) and founder of the Above the Rim Sports Foundation.Over the course of nine years in coaching at Minneapolis Patrick Henry Coach McKenzie has used his ability to motivate young people in establishing one of the most successful high school boys basketball programs in the nation. Under his guidance Minneapolis Patrick Henry won a record four consecutive state championships. The National Federation of High School Coaches Association honored him with the 2011 Coach Award for Minnesota. With the same vision and skill used on the court Coach McKenzie has inspired countless youth and adults off the court."
