Christine Blasey Ford is a Palo Alto University professor of psychology and a Stanford University School of Medicine research psychologist. She is an expert in developing statistical models for research initiatives. Ford served as a professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine Collaborative Clinical Psychology Program during her academic career. Ford publicly accused then-U.S.
Supreme Court candidate Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her in Bethesda, Maryland, while they were teens in the summer of 1982, in September 2018. Later that month, she testified about her claims during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination.
