Before signing to Virgin Records Nashville in 2000, Country music artist, Chris Cagle was first known as a songwriter for David Kerch. Cagle released his debut album Play It Loud and his first single My Love Goes On and On, which debuted on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts. In the United States, the album became certified gold and also produced the Top 10 hits I Breathe In, I Breathe Out, his first No. 1 hit and Laredo. In 2002, his self-titled album Chris Cagle, released on Capitol Records Nashville followed Play It Loud. The album Chris Cagle was certified gold in the U.S. and produced Top 5 hits like Chicks Dig It and What a Beautiful Day. In 2005, his third album, Anywhere but Here dropped and produced Miss Me Baby which peaked at No. 12 on the charts. In 2008, he released My Life's Been a Country Song which was his fourth studio album and in the early 2008, his single, What Kinda Gone, peaked at No. 3 on the country music charts. He also released new single, Got My Country On in 2011. Back in the Saddle, was released in June 2012, and it was his first album with Bigger Picture Music Group.
