Brian Michael Bendis is a multi-award-winning comics creator, a New York Times bestselling author, and one of the most successful mainstream comics authors. Brian's works have continuously topped the national comic and graphic novel sales rankings for the past fifteen years. Cameras have begun rolling on SONY's live-action series based on POWERS, Brian and Mike Avon Oeming's Eisner award-winning comic book for the Playstation Network, with Brian serving as executive producer. He's presently writing and creating THE BLAST, a comedic animation pilot for FOX Sunday evenings. Brian previously served as the chief writer for Marvel and Gazillion Games' enormous multiplayer online game MARVEL UNIVERSE and is presently working on the Marvel addition to the Disney Infinity franchise. He is the creator of the JINX criminal comics series, which is published by Image Comics. GOLDFISH, FIRE, JINX, TORSO (w/ Marc Andreyko), and TOTAL SELL OUT are all part of this collection. Brian has received five EISNER awards, including two consecutive years as "Best Writer of the Year," as well as the coveted INKPOT award for comic art quality. Brian has won the Cleveland Press Excellence in Journalism Award three times and has been voted "Best Writer of the Year" by Wizard Magazine and Comic Buyer's Guide. He and his wife Alisa live in Portland, Oregon, with their beautiful daughters Olivia, Tabatha, and Sabrina, his handsome son London, and their pets Lucky and Max.
