Brett Goldstein Biography

Brett Goldstein is a British comedian and actor who authored and starred in SuperBob. He also played Tom in the Channel 4 comedy-drama Derek. He co-wrote The Catherine Tate Live Show as well as has written and recorded 4 solo stand-up displays. He managed to win the BIFA Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2016 for his performance as Brendon in the movie Adult Life Skills.In 2018, Goldstein launched the radio show Films to Be Buried With in 2018, which includes guests discussing movies that have had a meaningful impact on their lives.   Goldstein was appointed as an author by TV producer Bill Lawrence for the 2020 Apple TV+ display Ted Lasso, featuring Jason Sudeikis.  He was featured as the protagonist of ageing footballer Roy Kent as a result of his stage work. He went on to win the Writers Guild of America Prize for T.v: Comedy Series at the 73rd Writers Guild of America Prize, as well as he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Prize for Outstanding Supporting Role in a Tv Comedy in 2021 for his appearances on the show. He  generated and co-wrote the 6 part anthology series Soulmates for AMC, depending on their 2013 short movie For Life, with Black Mirror author Will Bridges.
