Beth Comstock served as a Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of General Electric Company. Comstock was responsible for leading GE's organic growth initiatives, marketing, sales, and communications, and for directing cross- business digital efforts in strategic areas for GE such as consumer health and environmental technology. She served as Corporate Vice President of General Electric Company at GEFS (Suisse) AG. Comstock served as the President of NBC Universal Digital Media. Comstock served as the President of Integrated Media of NBC Universal, Inc. until March 2008. She oversaw television ad sales and leads the Digital Media team, driving NBC's digital strategy, business, content, and distribution efforts. In addition, she also led both the marketing and research teams and is focused on deepening connections with consumers. Prior, Comstock served as General Electric's chief marketing officer. In that role, she oversaw marketing and sales development and was responsible for cross-business growth programs, including GE's ecomagination environmental effort and the Imagination Breakthrough innovation initiative. Comstock also led GE's integrated communications, including the successful "imagination at work" brand campaign. She has a deep understanding of the opportunities presented by the digital revolution and was incredibly effective in guiding at NBC through a huge shift in NBC company's mindset. Her efforts have begun to deliver real financial results and have set the stage for robust future growth.

Comstock has been a GE company officer since 1998, when she was named GE's vice president of Corporate Communications. She served as Senior Vice President of Communications at NBC, and as Vice President of NBC News Communications. She held a succession of publicity positions at CBS Entertainment, Turner Broadcasting, and NBC. She began her career in television in Virginia. She has been Member of Advisory Board at Canoe Ventures LLC since April 2010. She is a Graduate of the College of William and Mary.
