One of the foremost authorities on strategy and innovation in the world is widely considered as being Vijay Govindarajan. He has the title of Earl C. Daum 1924 Professor of International Business at Dartmouth College's Tuck School of Business. He was the first Professor in Residence and Chief Innovation Consultant at General Electric.
He co-authored "How GE is Disrupting Itself," a Harvard Business Review essay that introduced the idea of reverse innovation, or any advance that gets embraced first in the developing world, alongside GE CEO Jeff Immelt. Reverse innovation was named one of the ten most important concepts of the decade by Harvard Business Review.
