Benny Jacobs-Schwartz, a California native, has had an instinctive affinity for nature since he was a child. His fascination with the natural environment stretches back to his childhood. During his high school summers, he participated in multi-week adventure programs, which broadened his outdoor experiences quickly.
He was frequently spotted exploring vast open places, wading through streams and creeks, and listening to trees blowing in the breeze when he was younger. Continuing on this path, he fell in love with birds in Costa Rica during a college study abroad program in 2011.
