Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt is an actor and director from the United States. Two Academy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards are among his achievements. He got his start on the PBS educational program The Voyage of the Mimi when he was a kid. Later in his career, he starred in the indie coming-of-age comedy Dazed and Confused (1993) as well as other Kevin Smith productions. Affleck rose to prominence after he and his boyhood friend Matt Damon won the Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for writing and starring in Good Will Hunting (1997). Since then, he has been in the psychological thriller Gone Girl (2014), the thriller The Accountant (2016), the action-adventure Triple Frontier (2019), and the sports drama The Way Back (2019).
