Becky Blaney, a former Miss Texas, has traveled the world, captivating audiences of all kinds. Her distinctive magic has wowed major businesses, schools, cruise ships, and Las Vegas revues. At the age of three, she gave her first magic show with the help of her father, a world-renowned magician, and illusionist. With an age-old skill, she was able to read the thoughts of visitors to the Blaney house. Blaney won many talent competitions while in college by performing her own magic acts. In 1975, she became the first female winner of the worldwide Brotherhood of Magicians Contest. As a consequence, she was featured on, Tell The Truth. Blaney's winning streak continued when she won first place in the Miss Texas Pageant talent competition. Becky Blaney went on to work as a singing telegram professional, where she brought audiences to her unique style of humor. Blaney honed her emceeing skills for the Chinese Acrobat exhibitions. Becky and The Chinese Acrobats traveled the country after being created for amusement parks. Becky Blaney then embarked on a long trip into the somewhat uncharted territory of comedy clubs. She began her career as an emcee and swiftly rose to become a headliner at some of the country's most prominent clubs, including Catch A Rising Star, The Punchline, and The Improv. Becky Blaney has recently co-staffed in Valentino's Magic Revue, Playboy Girls of Rock & Roll, Crazy Girls, and Comedy Cabaret in Las Vegas, and has appeared on national television; Evening At The Improv, The Statler Brothers, Comedy Central, Lois, and Clarke, Into The Night, and has recently co-staffed in Valentino's Magic Revue, Playboy Girls of Rock & Roll, Crazy Girls, and Comedy Cabaret. She performs as a support act for headline acts and country-western performers.
