Amy Zegart is an Associate Professor of Public Policy at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she lectures US foreign policy and public administration courses. She was named Public Policy Professor of the Year in 2003 for her outstanding teaching. The National Journal named Zegart as one of the 10 most prominent experts on intelligence reform.
In 1993, she worked on the National Security Council staff of the Clinton Administration, served as a foreign policy advisor to the Bush-Cheney presidential campaign in 2000, and testified before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
