Penn State football star Adam Taliaferro made a routine helmet-to-helmet tackle that would change the course of his life. The Voorhees, New Jersey, native had broken his neck – the same injury suffered by Christopher Reeves. He lay motionless on the field. Taliaferro was given only a three percent chance of ever walking again, but today he not only walks – he walks well.
