Abbi Jacobson is a comedian, writer, actor, and artist from the United States. Broad City, a Comedy Central sitcom based on the web series of the same name, she co-created and co-starred in with Ilana Glazer. Jacobson and Glazer created and starred in the online series Broad City, which followed their life in New York from 2009 to 2011.
The series received an ECNY Award nomination for Best Web Series. It garnered positive reviews from reviewers and acquired a cult following. Jacobson and Glazer converted the series into a live show called Broad City Live, which they presented at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
