Aaron Sorkin is a playwright and writer. He is currently adapting the biography Steve Jobs for Sony and writing the final season of the HBO series, “The Newsroom.” Sorkin’s Broadway playwriting debut A Few Good Men earned him the John Gassner Award for Outstanding New American Playwright; he then adapted it into the feature film. Sorkin won an Academy Award, Golden Globe, Critics Choice Award, and BAFTA Award for his screenplay The Social Network. In television, he produced and wrote the Humanitas Prize-winning “Sports Night” and “The West Wing,” winning the Outstanding Drama Series Emmy four times.
