Former U.S. Presidential Advisor and CNN Panelist Set to Deliver Political and Economic Insights to Self-Storage Leaders

This fall, they are welcoming thousands for their inaugural self-storage conference and tradeshow, MSM’s THE Show, presented by Janus International, taking place this November 4-6 in Atlanta, Georgia. They have invited former U.S. Presidential Advisor, conservative voice, and CNN political coverage fixture Scott Jennings to serve as the event's opening keynote speaker.

A native of Kentucky, he began his career in journalism as a reporter and anchor in Louisville before transitioning into politics. He worked on George W. Bush's 2000 presidential campaign in Kentucky, managed Bush's 2004 re-election efforts in New Mexico, and served in the Bush White House as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Political Affairs under Karl Rove (2005–2009). Jennings has been a key advisor and campaign operative for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell across multiple elections (2002, 2008, 2014) and has participated in other high-profile races, including Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential bid.

Since 2017, Jennings has been a prominent on-air Senior Political Contributor and commentator for CNN, where he provides conservative perspectives on panels and programs. He also writes columns for outlets like USA Today, the Los Angeles Times, and CNN.com, hosts the "Scott Jennings Show" on Salem Radio, and authored the book “Revolution of Common Sense” (2025).
