Modern pop artist Zella Day combines a dash of Western Bohemian style. Her parents managed a café and art gallery in a tiny mountain hamlet close to Phoenix, where she was reared, and the community's artistic patrons encouraged her musical talents.
She began playing the guitar at the age of 9, and within a few years, she had written her first songs, which had been influenced by the legendary singer/songwriter recordings in her parents' collection as well as her untamed surroundings.
