The founder and CEO of the social networking site GREE, which has 230 million users worldwide, is Yoshikazu Tanaka. Five years after its founding, in June 2010, GREE was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's first section. Tanaka formerly had positions at Rakuten and So-net Entertainment Corporation, where he began working on GREE in his leisure time.
He established himself as the youngest-ever founder of a firm listed on the main section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2010, not long after turning 33. His estimated net worth is $1.7 billion. In 1999, he graduated with a Bachelor of Law from Nihon University in Japan.
