At the University of Oregon's College of Education, Yong Zhao, Ph.D., holds the presidential chair, serves as the institute's director, and teaches in the department of educational measurement, policy, and leadership.
Prior to that, he held the positions of executive director of the Confucius Institute, founding director of the Office of Teaching and Technology, and US-China Center for Research on Educational Excellence in the College of Education at Michigan State University. He was also a university distinguished professor in the college. He was chosen as an International Academy for Education fellow.
