Yana Peel Biography

After leaving the trading floor of Goldman Sachs in 2003, venture philanthropist Yana, co-founded and was in charge of Outset Contemporary Art Fund. She sits on various boards such as the British Fashion Council and the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), Para/Site Art Space (Hong Kong), Tate International Council (London) and Victoria Foundation (Moscow) from her Hong Kong vase. She wrote and published ‘Art for Baby’ a best-selling children’s series and also ‘Young Global Leader’ selected by the World Economic Forum. In collaboration with Amelie von Wedel, Yana co-founded Intelligence Squared Asia in 2009 and from 2013 to 2016, she was the CEO. She became CEO of two contemporary art galleries in London known as Serpentine Galleries in 2016.
