When Xzibit collaborated with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg on the popular song Bitch Please, he had a significant breakthrough in the rap industry. Then he had an appearance on the multi-platinum album Chronic 2001 by Dr. Dre. The young rapper accepted Dr. Dre's invitation to join his Up in Smoke tour in the summer of 2000.
Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Cube, and many more West Coast rappers were all part of the cross-country tour. Executive produced by Dr. Dre, Restless is Xzibit's highest-priced album to date. The rapper's biggest hit was the track X, and the album was certified platinum. He still works closely with his closest West Coast associates.
