Co-Founder and CEO of Club W, an online retailer offering a better way to find, buy, and share wine, is Xander Oxman. Club W was born out of the founders' personal encounter with a flaw in the retail wine industry.
As a frequent wine consumer (though by no means an oenophile), Xander thought brick-and-mortar establishments were either overwhelming for shopping at supermarkets and big-box stores or awkward and pretentious at wine shops. Furthermore, Xander felt completely underwhelmed by the options for learning about and purchasing wine online as a card-carrying member of the Amazon generation.
