The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center is directed by Wu Han. Han, a pianist, is one of the most renowned and significant classical performers working today. She performs often as a soloist and chamber musician in a variety of notable settings around the United States, Europe, and the Far East. She has also performed widely as a duet pianist with cellist David Finckel. Among Han's many musical endeavors is the establishment of ArtistLed, the first musician-run and web-based recording label for classical music. Han and Finckel are also the creators and artistic directors of Silicon Valley's Music@Menlo, a chamber music festival that has won praise from all over the world since its inception in 2003. Wu Han and Finckel were the creative directors of SummerFest La Jolla for three seasons prior to the founding of Music@Menlo.
