They are an All-American comedic combo known as The Indian and the White Guy. They have been touring the United States since the late 1960s. Williams and Ree met in 1968 as members of a band at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota, who filled the time between songs with comedic routines.
Their wit grew in popularity faster than their music. Much of the conversation between the two revolves around Native-American stereotypes.
