Businessman William Shu is the co-founder and CEO of Deliveroo, a British online meal delivery service with operations in 84 locations. Shu had positions at Morgan Stanley as an investment banker and as an analyst for S.A.C. Capital Advisors, ESO Capital, and other firms. In 2013, he and software engineer and childhood friend Greg Orlowski founded Deliveroo.
For the first eight months, Shu worked as the company's first delivery person, delivering food every day in order to comprehend the clientele. For its first two years of operation, Deliveroo was based in London and expanded by word of mouth. The business opened offices in Paris, Berlin, and Dublin in 2015.
