Mr. William Ruh is the CEO of GE Digital as well as the company's senior vice president and Chief Digital Officer (CDO). GE Digital, a $6 billion division of General Electric, offers industry-leading digital software solutions and services. GE Digital provides a wide range of Industrial Internet applications to clients across the world, including asset performance monitoring, operations optimization, and brilliant manufacturing, as well as platform-as-a-service, cloud, and cyber security. Mr. Ruh's responsibilities as CDO include worldwide IT as well as the development of GE's Digital Thread, a next-generation system for simplifying design, production, and support operations. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a bachelor's and master's degree in computer science.
