Will McLean, vice president of research and regenerative medicine at Frequency Therapeutics, is a strong proponent. Prior to completing a Ph.D. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, McLean studied science as an undergraduate at Tufts University. His Ph.D.
work at MIT outlined the distinct cell types that give rise to touch cells and other neural cell types inside the internal ear. Will study the use of small atom medicines to regulate sub-atomic flagging circuits to speed the repair of inner ear tactile cells as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School.
