Will Hayden, the company's founder, is the driving force behind Red Jacket Firearms. His early introduction to weapons came from his family, who were rural folks with a shotgun who occasionally hunted. He grew up in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana region. Will was an inquisitive young man who devoured all he could about history and combat.
This prompted him to begin fiddling with firearms, and by the age of 17, Will had discovered that making weapons was an excellent way to keep out of trouble. As Will puts it, I desired things I couldn't afford, so he created a method to get them.
