Whitney has trained over 75 teams and individuals at top organizations across the world since 2013. Her clients connect with their audience's needs and their own needs with her organized advice and empathetic support, allowing them to build stronger plans for long-term success. She is involved in this task on a daily basis. Whitney switched to coaching after more than a decade as a high-profile user experience consultant to Fortune 500 companies, early-stage startups, and world-renowned institutions. Integral Coaching, nonviolent communication, social and emotional intelligence, mindful self-compassion, Eastern philosophy, and whatever she learns next are all part of her holistic, interdisciplinary approach. Whitney runs the blog Pleasure & Pain, co-hosts the podcast Designing Yourself, and talks at conferences and businesses all around the world. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a master's degree in human-computer interaction, and in 2014, she became a Certified Integral Coach via New Ventures West. The International Coach Federation certified her as a Professional Certified Coach in 2015. She and her sailor-chef Fredrick reside on the s/v Jenny, a 1980 Endeavour 37′ sloop moored in San Diego, California. They are still in the planning stages of their circumnavigation.
