I've always had an entrepreneurial mindset and grown up around privately held businesses. I've spent more than 20 years starting and running organizations. I've worked in programming for a very long time. I first started with applications for the auto industry, then moved on to E-trade, Channel Management, and, most recently, Channel IQ, a Big Data and E-business Analytics company that I founded in 2010. I was CEO of Channel Velocity, an online channel the executive's arrangements company serving brand name manufacturers before I founded Channel IQ. In terms of managing web-based company retail agreements or adapting decision-makers with creativity and aptitude to capitalize on web-based business development, the recurring theme over the last fifteen years has consistently been in the area of internet business. With a focus on finance and entrepreneurship and a minor in geographic information systems, I received a cum laude from the University of Washington Business School. In my pursuit of an MBA, I also visited Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management to research how accessible Wes Shepherd and other notable speakers are.
