Wes Bentley is an American performer who first gained notoriety in 1999 for his role as the deeply imaginative next-door neighbor Ricky Fitts in the Oscar-winning film American Beauty. He also played game designer Seneca Crane in The Hunger Games and co-stars in Lovelace as Larry Marchiano, Linda Lovelace's controlling husband.
Born on September 4th, 1978 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Bentley participated in show club at Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood, Arkansas, where he also discovered a passion for improvisational satire. He also formed a comedy group with his brother Patrick Bentley, as well as Damien Bunting and Josh Cowdery.
