Professor of Neuroscience and Psychology at the Center for Neural Science at New York University, Dr. Wendy A. Suzuki. At the University of California, Berkeley, she earned her bachelor's degree in physiology and human anatomy in 1987 while working with Prof. Marion C. Diamond, a pioneer in the research of brain plasticity.
After completing a post-doctoral study at the National Institutes of Health, she went on to receive her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from U.C. San Diego in 1993. In 1998, she accepted a professor position at New York University. She is still very interested in the plasticity of the brain.
