In September 2004, Wendi Trilling was promoted to Executive Vice President of Comedy Development at CBS Entertainment. She answers to CBS Entertainment Chairman Nina Tassler. In 1990, Trilling began working for CBS in the department of current programs.
In 1992, she received the title of Manager of Comedy/Drama Series Development, and in 1993, she received the title of Associate Director of Comedy Development. She was promoted to Senior Vice President of Comedy Development in June 2000 after being designated Vice President in 1997 and Director of Comedy Development in 1994.
