Wallace Renfro is the National Collegiate Athletic Association's vice president and general counsel. He has spent over four decades in the interchanges and advertising industries, including nearly 40 years at the NCAA. He worked in many advertising jobs, including executive of advertising from 1997 until his departure in 2002 to form Renfro and Associates Communications Solutions.
Renfro returned to the NCAA in 2003 and was elected VP and senior counselor to the president in 2008. Since his appointment, he has assisted in the creation of the NCAA's first affiliation broad important agreement in 2004 and was a key contributor to the open report The Second-Century Imperatives: Presidential Leadership."
