Viren Rasquinha, probably Indian hockey's greatest star, is an Olympian and the former head of the Indian hockey team. He was presented with the prestigious Arjuna Award for Hockey in 2005. He played 180 international games for the Indian hockey team from 2002 till his retirement in January 2008.
