Vincent Reinhart Biography

Vincent is the firm's Chief Economist and Investment Strategist. He is in charge of developing perspectives on the global economy and offering relative value ideas among global security marketplaces, monetary standards, and divisions. Previously, he was Morgan Stanley's Chief US Economist and managing executive. He had previously worked as an in-house researcher at the AEI for four years. Mr. Reinhart spent twenty-four years at the Federal Reserve, most recently as Director of the Division of Monetary Affairs and Secretary and Economist of the Federal Open Market Committee. At the Federal Reserve, he was in charge of coordinating the discovery and examination of money related arrangement systems, as well as being the director of strategy through open market activities discounted window loaning and saving criteria. He was the primary point of contact with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's household work area, and he was in charge of building up an archive plotting approach possibilities for each FOMC meeting. His previous experience with the Federal Reserve System included a two-year stint as Deputy Director in the Division of International Finance and Associate Economist of the FOMC, as well as five years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in a variety of capacities in both the Domestic and International Research Departments. His research publications mostly deal with the direction of arrangement and concerns associated with the monetary transmission system, as well as an evaluation of elective closeout processes and Treasury obligation executives. After completing his undergraduate studies at Fordham University, he went on to receive advanced financial education at Columbia University.
