The former Binghamton University student has transformed into a TV champion with a regular position in the enduring CBS comedy King of Queens, not a basketball champion. The prime-time program, which is presently in its second season on CBS and in syndication, has steadily improved in the ratings. I was excited to leave for my courses at the performance center. I felt at home when I was speaking in front of a crowd. Williams has received praise for his portrayal as Deacon Palmer, a delivery truck driver and close friend of Kevin James' principal character Doug Heffernan.
