Victor Rivas RiversSpeaker and Booking Agent Information

Rivers, who is currently one of the most well-known domestic abuse campaigners, utilizes his platform to call for the protection of all women and children. Now tell us how Rivers ended the cycle of violence.

At the age of 12, Rivers went to his neighborhood police station to denounce a lifetime of crimes he had committed against his mother, siblings, and pets. The abuse outraged the cops, but they were unable to stop Rivers' father.

They claimed that the torture was being carried out in secret because it was "a private family problem." At age 15, Rivers finally filed a then-unprecedented lawsuit against his father and moved in with a number of foster homes, who disapproved of his change from a gang member filled with wrath to the senior class president.

He refers to many of his "angels" as being educators.

These adults gave Victor the confidence to eventually earn a full football scholarship at Florida State University and a stint in the NFL, starting with his eighth-grade teacher who literally fed him when his father implemented a starvation diet at home to his high school coaching staff who wouldn't let him quit the team and drop out of school.

Rivers went after another long shot in Hollywood after being labeled "The Longest of Long Shots" by the Miami sports media.

With parts in over two dozen films, including The Mask of Zorro and The Hulk, as well as several TV programs, including LIFE, Law & Order LA, and Star Trek, Rivers has subsequently gained a large fanbase throughout the world.

Victor Rivas Rivers is a superb storyteller whose subjects are as varied as his heritage and who is sincerely committed to fighting stereotypes and cultural discrimination. He discusses with a variety of audiences his tactics for dispelling these prejudices.
