Garber began performing when she was nine years old and enrolled at Toronto's Hart House at the age of 15. Together with Peter Mann, he founded the social band The Sugar Shoppe in 1967. Garber has been in a number of American and Canadian films and television programs, including CTV's E.N.G. and James Cameron's Titanic (1997), in which he portrayed shipbuilder Thomas Andrews. Garber is most known for his role as Jack Bristow in the television series Alias (2001ā2006).
