Victor Ai has overseen 50 investment projects totaling more than USD 7.3 billion (RMB 100 billion) in both RMB and USD denominated funds. He has more than 10 years of expertise in investment banking and private equity investing. Ai holds the role of managing partner and is a founder member of the Everbright-IDG Industrial Fund and Everbright-Zhongying Capital. Additionally, he participates in two TMT-focused PE funds run by CITIC Securities and HUATAI Securities' investment committees. He was once a key creator of EBA Investments, the biggest Chinese real estate fund, which oversaw RMB 100 billion (USD 14.5 billion) in assets. He had previously worked for J.P. Morgan's investment banking branch in New York and Hong Kong. Ai has extensive investing expertise in FinTech, global entertainment, high-tech, new consumer, etc. industries. Ai has led and completed strategic investments in iQiyi, the largest online video platform in China, Yixia Technology (Miao Pai, Xiao Ka Xiu, Yi Zhi Bo), the leading mobile video company in China, Bona, the only film group covering the entire film industrial chain in China, Shanghai Film Art Academy, etc. for the overall entertainment sector. He has completed the largest investment in the high technology sector, including in NIO, the top high-performance electric vehicle manufacturer in China, SenseTime, the top deep learning platform in the world, Wish, the largest B2C e-commerce platform globally, Zhong Ke Jin, the top financial technology company in China, Youxin Group, the top second-hand car e-commerce company, ChinaUMS, Terminus, the top city-level mobile IOT ecological platform company, and Dali. Ai earned her bachelor's in arts in economics from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver and her master's in finance from Washington University in St. Louis.
