She was President of Bluecross Blueshield Of Tennessee, Inc until October 18, 2010, and Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, and Chief Executive Officer of Volunteer State Health Plan, Bluecross Blueshield's Medicaid HMO. Since 2012, she has been the chairperson of the National Institute for Healthcare Management. Prior to joining BCBST, she worked as a market vice president for a national, publicly-traded health plan, where she handled operations, strategic development, acquisition, and the growth of the health plan's coverage region. Humana's regional vice president for Kentucky and Ohio was her title. Mrs. Gregg has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including clinical care, hospital administration, long-term care, and healthcare benefits and finance, for over 37 years.
