American social entrepreneur Veronika Scott is the CEO and creator of the charitable organization The Empowerment Plan, which is situated in Detroit. Scott was born in Orange, California, on June 27, 1990, but grew up in Huntington Woods, Michigan, a community south of Detroit. Her younger siblings are two.
She graduated from Clarkston High School and continued her education at Detroit's College for Creative Studies, where she majored in industrial design. While she was at school, Scott resided with her grandparents. She received a degree in product design at CCS in December 2011.
