Since 2002, Vanessa Friedman has served as the FT's style manager. She is the only one who has ever held the position. She helped organize the FT's Business of Luxury conference and writes a weekly feature on style changes for the Business of Fashion supplements.
She worked as the highlights/design highlights executive for the dispatch of UK In Style before joining the FT, and she also often wrote for publications including The Economist, The New Yorker, Vogue, and Entertainment Weekly.
