Val's goal in speaking and writing is to restore our faith in the kind of reassuring craftsmanship that is currently routinely disregarded by the general public. Val has a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling with a focus on distress loss and disability from Virginia Commonwealth University.
She assisted Veterans Affairs clients with administrative disabilities as they underwent substantial transitions from military to civilian life because she was already a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. At the Massey Cancer Center Medical College of Virginia, where she worked as a questioner/scientist in an inquiry into misery and hopelessness, she promoted deprivation bolster groups.
