Uwe E. Reinhardt has taught courses in micro and macroeconomic theory and policy, commercial, private non-profit, and governmental accounting, commercial and non-profit financial management, and health economics and policy. Professor Uwe E. Reinhardt earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada in 1964 and was named the Most Distinguished Graduate of his graduating class by the Governor-General. In 1970, Yale University awarded Uwe E. Reinhardt a Ph.D. in economics. Physician Productivity and the Demand for Health Manpower was the title of his Ph.D. dissertation. He was awarded an honorary doctorate in science from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1987.
