Uri Hasson is a professor of Princeton University's Psychology Department and the Neuroscience Institute, where he heads The Hasson Lab. His study focuses on how the brain integrates complicated information over time and the interaction between two persons and two brains during natural communication, with an emphasis on how the brain processes real-life complex information and interacts with the environment.
He studied philosophy and cognitive sciences at Hebrew University as an undergraduate. Before coming to Princeton, he earned his Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the Weizmann Institute in Israel and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at NYU. Hasson was born and raised in Jerusalem.
