Kristof Grina oversaw a Potomac, Maryland, organic farm that supplied the Washington, D.C., region with food. He successfully oversaw the farm's implementation of a weekly CSA delivery service for 60 members. One of the leading green roofing businesses in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region hired him to install green roofs.
Kristof earned a Bachelor of Science in Plant and Soil Science with a concentration on sustainable agriculture from the University of Vermont. Before helping to start Up Top Acres, Kathleen O'Keefe worked as a project and event coordinator in the Infrastructure and Sustainability Department of the DowntownDC Business Improvement District.
